HEALTH CHARACTERISTICS OF LIGHTWEIGHT AND OPENWEIGHT FEMALE COLLEGIATE ROWERS

Collegiate female athletes generally have increased prevalence of female athlete triad symptoms some of which include: low energy availability, low bone mineral density, and irregular menstrual cycles. This study focused on the impact of these factors as well as stress levels and athlete identity across 158 college female rowers who were both lightweights and openweights.
